Blue Star (Amsonia x 'Blue Ice') - Dwarf, long blooming variety that bears star shaped, deep blue flowers on green foliage that turns yellow in the fall. Drought tolerant.
Hybrid Anemone (Anemone x hybrid 'Harmony Blue, Harmony Pearl, Harmony Orchid, Harmony Scarlet') - Dwarf habit is perfect for containers and blooms until summer.
Columbine (Aquilegia vulgaris 'Clementine Blue') - Very floriferous with upward facing, spurless blue blooms form a mound with sturdy upright stems.

Oriental Poppy (Papaver orientale) - Varieties include: Little Candy Floss, Papillon, Scarlet O'Hara. Blooms during May and June, grows from 2 1/2 feet to 4 feet high. The flowers often measure 9 and 10 inches across. Some of them have a black blotch in the center of the petals and all have a great number of purplish-black stamens.
