DICHONDRA |
|
Dichondra is a perennial weed that thrives in moist soils as a ground cover mat. It generally does not exceed 2 inches in height. Some varieties stand up well to traffic. Leaves are kidney-shaped with continuous, un-toothed margins and long petioles. Leaves are situated in an alternating fashion on the stem. Stems are thin and tend to have a creeping growth pattern. Flowers are very small and difficult to identify. Generally speaking, dichondra plants have limited tolerance to freezing. |
